Hello, so happy to have you back here. We have a great theme at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge this week - Carnival - you may play with the idea of festivals, street parties, bright colors or masks. I was inspired by the beautiful colors and feathers of the carnival theme and made this wall decor.

I love this week's fun carnival theme because when I saw it I thought of the wooden cradle board, craft feathers and paper mache dress form in my craft room right away. They are just perfect for this theme.

To make this project, I first covered the cradle board with Gesso and Ranger Dabber, glued Tim Holtz Gadget Gears die cuts and flowers on the background then sprayed the background and those embellishments with Dylusions ink spray. The whole background also was covered with glitter. In fact, I just played with various colors and medium as long as they are carnival theme related.

The paper mache dress form was colored with Ranger Dabber in gold and dressed up with Prima flowers, Dear Lizzy ribbons and feathers. I then stacked and glued some Tim Holtz Shabby Accoutrements Buttons as the base and attached the "carnival girl" on the board.

Here are some close up photos for the details. The bright colors and glittered embellishments are absolutely wonderful for this carnival project.

Hope you are all in a great crafting mood to create somthing for this week's challenge.
