Hi, blog friends, I'd like to share a fun project I made for Faber-Castell. It's so fun even kids will love to do it.
To start this project, I drew some random images on a piece of printing paper (size 5" X 3.25") using Gelatos, Stamper's Big Brush Pens and mixed media tools. If you are interested in how I doodled please click on my previous tutorial Altered Canvas Clock or Doodling with Gelatos.
Apply a thin layer of Gel Medium on the phone cover evenly.
Paste the paper of your doodling on the cover. Make sure it's flat and there's no bubble between the cover and paper.
Trim the excess along the edges of the cover.
Cut a small cross in the center of the camera hole.
Apply some Gel Medium around the hole.
Use a pen to make the opening nice and neat. Paste the excess on the other side of the camera hole.
Cover the whole image and edges with Glaze. After it is dry, apply another layer of Glaze for more protection on the image.
Add some gems as a final touch.
Now, you have your own cute phone cover!
Christopher, my 9-year-old son also made one using his own doodling for his phone. It is so fun and adorable!
I just couldn't stop playing and made another beautiful phone cover with the same techniques and products.
Hope you get a chance to try these fun techniques and fantastic products from Faber-Castell to design your own phone cover.

I share my project at Paint Party Friday and Creative Art Everyday.

Happy painting and crafting! :)
