Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to another new Simon Says Stamp
Monday Challenge. From the long days of summer to a beautiful sunset, butter to
golden yellow hues, this week’s challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
is an Ode to Sunshine. Our design team member Anna-Karin requested
a challenge that embraces the summer season and all things sunshine
– so let’s do it!

Enjoying the sunshine in the garden while reading a book or drinking a
cup of coffee is the best way to start off my day.
For the project this week, I used a wooden cradle board as the base and
covered it with Gesso and Faber-Castell Gelatos in various colors.
To make some beautiful texture on the background and edges, I used
modeling paste and stencils to add patterns.
The Tim Holtz Grungeboard Alphabets were glued on the background, colored with the
and VersaFine ink pad. There are some cute tiny dew drops from Robin's Nest to make
the morning sunshine even more wonderful and fresher.
then sprayed Color Shine on those embellishments to make the colors coordinate
the background.

Hope you enjoy the morning sunshine from my garden.
