Hello, my blog friends, hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Now, let's play Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. This week, we are all about the mail. Weather you want to use postcards, postage stamps, airmail patterned washi tapes or postage patterned backgrounds - just make anything about mail. I was inspired to make a postcard on a burlap canvas with beautiful embellishments.
It always makes me feel great to send postcards to family and friends while traveling even with today's technology almost everyone has a smart phone. I created a postcard on a burlap canvas which was originally a Tim Holtz District Market Burlap Panel with Christmas theme on it.
I covered the background with Faber-Castell Gesso and sprayed it with Heidi Swapp Color Shine invarious colors. I also stamped the background using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Bitty Grunge and Clearsnap Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink Pads.
After adding Prima flowers, gems, a pretty angel, postage stamp and some more embellishments, it is a beautiful wall or desktop decoration.
