Today, we have a new challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Embossing challenge - since it’s STAMPtember let's have something embossed on our projects. From dry embossed paper to creating a resist effect with clear embossing powder, extra fine embossing powder to melted UTEE in a pot there are many ways to emboss.
I was inspired to make a layout with some fun emobssed circles using Zing! embossing powder.
I love to make layouts for children since there are always many fun elements can be added on. The background here was made using Natalie's favorite colors. In the photo on this layout, Natalie was so happy and ready to go shopping. So I wanted to make this background a beautiful day.

I applied some Crackle Paint and Modeling Paste on this 12" X 12" canvas to make the pretty texture. The butterflies were made of shrinky film using Sizzix stamp, die cut and Surfacez ink.
Natalie's photo was decorated with Prima Flowers and embellishments. There are many layers and I love the cute wreath made with Simon Says Stamp Danville Wreath Craft Die.
I embossed those circles using Top Boss Embossing Ink Pad, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Stamps and Zing! Embossing Powder.

Meihsia...your 12x12 canvas is so pretty. I really love your backgrounds! They are usually white with soft shades of color blended in. That contrast always makes for such lovely pieces. I love your sweet picture and the way you have embellished it with so many lovely things. The little shutters and window" around the picture is a cute idea! All of the flowers and little embellishments are so eye catching and beautifully placed. Love the added textural elements to the canvas; the crackle and the raised honeycomb.
