Hey, friends, today I'd like to share some new fun inks by Aladine from Clearsnap. These pigment inks are amazing and I really enjoy playing with them on the background of my tags.
Here I used different methods to apply these inks. As you can see, there are different effects and results. And all of them are simple and awesome!
I have included a quick video to show you how I made these tags.
All these tags were cut with acrylic linen canvas paper in size 3" X 6". On the first tag, the background was colored with Izink inks and stamped with different layers of image.

Hey, my dear blog friends, thank you so much for joining our STAMPember blog hop last week. I had so much fun visiting your blogs and seeing all the awesome creations. This week, at
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, we challenge you -- "
Say It with Stamps" -- from phrases to words to simple alphabets, we want to see your creations with all those letter, word, and phrase sentiment stamps this week.
I was inspired to use a stamp on the layout for my summer vacation.
It's our first time seeing glaciers and eating reindeer sausage pizza during our family trip to Alaska this summer. These are really amazing and unforgetable memories. I decided to use this
Tim Holtz stamp which has a perfect sentiment for my layout with a photo of my children that was taken in Anchorage.
On this layout, the background was sprayed with the Studio! acrylic paint and water mixture using Simon Says Stamp Blocked Circile stencil. I layered the pieces of
designer paper,
jornaling cards, doily and vellum under the photo.

Hey, guys, I'd like to share project that I made for Clearsnap featuring ColorBox® Dye Ink and some fantastic products from Clearsnap. As the air is crisp and leaves are changing, let's make some fall crafts.
To start this card, I stamped the fall flower image using rubber satmp and Colorbox dye ink in suede color.
ColorBox® Stylus and Tips work perfectly with ColorBox® Dye Ink to distress the edges. The soft white tips are also great for blending colors in direct-to-paper projects.
I used water color brush to apply ColorBox® Petal Point Pigment Inks on the stamped image and the colors are gorgeous. Dye ink will not smear when moistened so it is perfect for watercoloring.
When mixed with water, dye ink made beautiful color on the seam binding.

Hi,
Simon Says Stamp fans and my dear blog friends, welcome to our STAMPtember® blog hop. This week we have a special treat for you to celebrate our month-long stamp party during September!
Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an interest in exclusively selling rubber stamps. It didn’t take long until we realized we couldn’t stop there. During the past 11 years we celebrate rubber stamping in its full glory by giving access to people around the world to a one stop shop. Rubber stamps still remain the heart of our business and we are celebrating by hosting a STAMPtember® event intended to inspire, educate, and celebrate the greatness of rubber stamping. Part of the enticement of rubber stamping is that stamps can be used in creating or complementing ANYTHING! From stamping dates on bank documents and postage parcels in the early 18th century, rubber stamping has dramatically expanded to include card making, scrapbooking, mixed media, life documenting, art journaling, and many forms of altering and expressing art.
This week, our design team members and
Shari Carroll have created many fabulous projects for you using
Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® Art Journal Kit by Shari Carroll. Included in the kit are the following:
Ranger / Dyan Reavely Small Creative Journal
1 Blocked Circles Stencil designed by Shari Carroll (Made in the USA)
Ranger Multi Matte Medium
Ranger Gesso

Hello, my dear friends in blogland, so glad you are back. This month at
Simon Says Stamp Blog, we have lots of events, inspirations and blog hops so please join us for the fun STAMPtember
®!
On the
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog this week, we challenge you do the experiment - you sure can stamp on plain white cardstock but what else can you stamp on? Fabric, vellum, patterned paper, canvas, and wood are just a few examples! Grab a stamp and show us what surface you choose for your project.
After receiving the
Surfacez ink pads, the new multi-surface inks, from Clearsnap I have tried them on plastic, glass, metal, shrink film, and I am very happy with the result. Surfacez is a solvent ink pad that works on mulitple surfaces, dries quickly, and it is permanent once dry. I always love to try new materials and products so I have to stamp on as many different surfaces as I can. It's reall fun!
So on this project, I decided to use Surfacez ink on fabric, wood, canvas, button and ribbon. To decorate the cover of this
Heidi Swapp Wood Album, I first applied Gesso on the cover and pasted a piece of patterned paper from Prima. The background was colored with Gelatos and all the cavas embellishments were colored with Gelatos and Heidi Swapp Color Shine.
I stamped the Surfacez inks on canvas and ribbon in Scarlet color, on prima flower in Caribbean and safari color, on button in black color, and on wood cloth pin in Berry color. They all look wonderful!
My suggestion for the best result when using Surfacez Ink on these surfaces is appling a thin layer of
Gesso before stamping if it is needed.
Oh, and don't be afraid of trying these multi-surface permanent inks becuase you can always clean it with
Surfacez Cleaner. Surfacez cleaner is made to clean the Surfacez ink from stamps and any other solvent or water based inks as well.

Hey, guys, I'd like to share two DT projects I made for Clearsnap this week. My first project featuring the fun stamp from Jimbo Lojik and the new NCAA licensed stamps from Clearsnap. As NCAA just kicked off the regular season, please join us to show your school spirit with our university themed stamps and other awesome products! To start this project, I used the ColorBox® Art Screens to emboss the background of this tag. Another layer of background was stamped with Chalk Ink and Rollagraph Design Wheel. The University of Texas at Austin images were embossed using Top Boss Embossing Powder and Watermark Ink. You can also decorate banners, books, gift bags and more with exciting images from your favorite university.
The "Howdy" stamp from Jimbo Lojik (available on September 30, 2013) is perfect for the theme so I embossed and attached it on the tag. Jimbo Lojik has more hilarious stamp sets and all of them make me laugh.

Happy
WOYWW, everyone. During the Labor Day long weekend, I managed to create some layouts using some scraps and leftover supplies while kids were helping to organize my craft room. I was so happy playing with them and see their creation since I've been hoarding some stuff and it's time for kids to play with them and make some albums/ journals for our summer trips.
These are stuff currently on my desk and I just finished these five simple layouts with final touches. Some pictures were used before as they were printed with two copies. I just picked the photos and combined with some cute patterned papers and embellishmenets.
Here is the first layout - Christopher loved his new hair cut.
The second layout - Our spring break trip.

If you are here for my
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge design team sample, I'll have a tutorial on Wednesday on Simon's blog for you. Please be sure to come back to check the fun techniques that I use Faber-Castell products to create a beautiful mixed media project.
For now, I'd like to share some simple cards that I made today. Each card only took few minutes but I had a lot of fun to create them because the only thing I do is - - Cut and Paste.
All these beautiful papers are from American Crafts
Dear Lizzy 5th & Frolic collection and
Lucky Cham collection. The sentiments are from K&Co. Vellum Sticker Pad.
Do you know that Simon Says Stamp has some exclusive products such as
this wafer thin die designed by Kristina Werner? It's really easy to add sentiments on your project using these dies.
I just can't stop playing this "Cut and Paste" game, so I made some more simple cards.
